Plastic lasts forever – our planet shouldn’t suffer forever."
To celebrate the International Plastic Free Day on 3rd July, 2025, the students of class 3 at St. Agnes' Loreto Day School enthusiastically participated in a JPIC (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation) activity. As a step towards promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, the young learners created beautiful and useful paper bags using old newspapers and handmade paper. This hands-on initiative not only encouraged creativity and teamwork but also helped the students understand the harmful effects of plastic on our planet. Through this meaningful activity, the children pledged to say no to plastic and be responsible stewards of the environment.
A short and informative video related to the harmful effects of one-time use plastic was also shown to help the young minds understand the need to protect our environment through simple and sustainable choices.
