Description:
A special assembly was conducted by class 9, on the 11th of January, centred around the theme of women empowerment and was attended by Sister Monica, Member of the Province Leadership Team (Loreto Education Office, Kolkata) and Mrs. Nandini Bhattacharjee, Director of the Loreto Education Office, Kolkata, Sister Amia, school Principal, Miss Bunny, teachers and students.
The assembly began with a thought-provoking skit that highlighted the challenges faced by women and the importance of standing up against injustice. The students then sang a powerful song that motivated women to be beacons of light and change. To add to the energy and excitement, a dance performance followed, urging women to stand against oppression.
Through these creative expressions, the assembly sent a clear message about breaking barriers and encouraging respect, equality, and support for women in every aspect of life.
