Description:
The noble initiative of observing National Deworming Day has been undertaken by the Government of India. The day is observed every February 10th to make every child in the country worm-free.
According to the national health portal, National Deworming Day is considered one of the largest public health programmes in the country. The initiative aims to deworm all children under the age group of 1 year to 19 years.
Keeping this in mind the students of the Junior school of St. Agnes' Loreto Day School participated in a talk show where in they were told about the worm infections that causes poor nutrition and reduces their capacity to concentrate and learn.
The children gained a lot and participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the talk show.
