'Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting'.

It is said that Santa Claus brings gifts for children on the Christmas Eve and places the gifts under
the Christmas tree. To make this tradition more fun, people bring big trees and decorate them extensively
so as to astonishSanta Claus. The Christmas tree is a nice place to gather around and unwrap the gifts.

The legend says that after the birth of Jesus Christ in the winter season, some of the trees shook of the
snow and turned green to mark the great event. Thus, the Christmas tree represents permanence and
immorality.

Keeping this in mind Christmas - a gift was celebrated in St. Agnes's Loreto Day School on 14th
December 2022 by tiny tots of Class Prep where the children made Christmas tree and decorated it.
They enjoyed making the Christmas tree and learnt the importance of it.

'Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it
most'.

God is our creator
God is the way
God loves us all
Out in the world there are people praying saying
Let your mercy fall

Let us join our hand and stay under one roof
Let the power of love fill our heart and make our spirit move
